For the upcoming tour of England, Pakistan announce their women's squad

The Pakistan Board has finalized the squad of 17-players for the upcoming England tour.

Pakistan's newly appointed women's committee has finally selected the team of 17-member has been finalized, for the upcoming tour of England. On Wednesday, the Pakistan Cricket Board conducted a press Conference, to release the details about the tour which is about to begin from May 11.

The White Ball tour for the Pakistan Women's team will play the first three-match T20 series from May 11^th to May 17^th. Following the T20 series, The team will play the three-match ODI series from May 23^rd to May 29^th.

The current 50-over series is a part of the ongoing ICC Women’s Championship 2022-2025 and this tour will mark the eighth and final series for Pakistan in the current tournament cycle.

In the current ICC Women's Championship 2022-2025, the Pakistan team ranked fifth out of playing 10 teams with a tally of 16 points.

The top five teams of the championship league along with the hosting country India, will directly qualify for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025. Moreover, during the tour, the Pakistan Women’s team will play the two warm-up matches including T20 and One Day against the ECB Development XI on May 9^th and 12^th, respectively.

Pakistan recently marked the whitewash in One Day International against the West Indies on the home ground soil. However, Pakistan will leave on Sunday for the England tour first time since 2016.
