KKR’s performance in the match was commendable by securing a win on the loss of 3 wickets only they achieved the target within 17 overs.

In just 16.3 overs KKR won the match and secured 157 runs. DC's score was very low as per the standard of this season of IPL. The opener of DC's Prithvi and Jake lost their wicket very early in the match both the batsmen just scored 13 runs and 12 runs off 7 balls respectively. Kuldeep Yadav was the only player in the team who was the highest scorer for DC and remained unbeaten, he secured 35 runs in 26 balls, and apart from him, Captain Rishabh Pant managed to secure some runs for the team he faced 20 balls in the match and scored 27 runs.

KKR was in the form from the start of their inning. The opener of Kolkata Knight Rider Phil Salt showcased his brilliance of batting in the match he secured 68 runs in just 33 balls not only the batsman but bowlers did their work very well. Varun Chakravarthy's impressive bowling took 3 wickets in the match by offering only 16 runs to the other team. Bowlers of KKR restricted the whole DC team at a very low score.

Captain Shreyas Iyer and Venkatesh Iyer took charge in their hand and took their team to winning. Shreyas scored 33 runs off 23 balls and Venkatesh scored 26 runs off 23 balls both remain unbeaten and won their 6th match by 7 wickets.
