Abhishek lost his wicket early in the match he secured 12 runs off 10 balls. However, opener Travis Head managed to score good runs of 58 runs in 44 balls with 6 fours and 3 sixes for the team. Nitish Kumar Reddy and Henrich Klaasen are the other two players who impacted the innings with their marvelous performances. Nitish scored 76 off 42 balls and Henrich made 42 off 19 balls unbeaten. The performance of these players helped the team in setting the target of 201 runs on the loss of 3 wickets. Apart from the batting of the SRH team the bowlers also had done their work Bhuvneshwar Kumar legitely snatched the match from the hand of Rajasthan. SRH won the match just by 1 run.

Jos Buttler was the first loss for Rajasthan Royals he did not score any runs and got out on duck soon after Sanju Samson lost his wickets after facing a couple of balls and went on duck. The match came on the track for RR when Riyan Parag and Yashasvi Jaiswal made a partnership of 134 runs. For a moment the match was gone in the favor of Rajasthan Royals Jaiswal scored 67 runs off 40 balls and Parag scored 77 off 49 balls. Jaiswal dismissal was on the ball of Natrajan as he decimated his own wicket while hitting a shot. After both their dismissals none of the players made any big impact overall those 11 players scored 200 runs and lost the match by 1 run and R Ashwin remained unbeaten.
