WTC 2025-27: Latest points table after Australia’s 8-wicket win over England at Gabba
WTC Points Table 2025: Australia tighten their grip on the WTC table as England slide after the 2nd Ashes Test in Brisbane.
Australia continued their strong form in the World Test Championship (WTC) with an eight-wicket win over England in the second Ashes Test at the Gabba. The hosts chased down a small target of 65 in just 10 overs, sealing their sixth straight victory of the cycle.
After losing the Perth Test inside two days, England once again failed to put up a fight in Brisbane. Their batting collapsed in the Day-Night Test, leaving Australia with an easy chase on the fourth day.
Australia remain on top of the WTC table with 60 points and a perfect 100% record. Defending champions South Africa are second, having won three of their four Tests, including a 2–0 series win over India. They sit at 75.09 PCT.
Sri Lanka is third with 66.67 PCT after one win and one draw. Pakistan follow in fourth with 50 PCT from their 1–1 series against South Africa.
India has dropped to fifth place with 48.13 PCT after their home series defeat to South Africa. New Zealand, who drew their opening Test against the West Indies in Christchurch, are sixth with 33.33 PCT.
England’s fourth loss of the cycle has pushed them down to seventh. They now have 26 points from seven Tests, giving them a PCT of 30.95.
Bangladesh are eighth with 16.67 PCT, while the West Indies sits last with just 5.56 PCT.
