The stage is set for the UP T20 League. The first match will be played between defending champion Meerut Mavericks and Kanpur Superstars on Aug 17.
UPT20 Season 3 is almost here, and fans are already buzzing with excitement. The tournament starts on August 17th at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, and everyone’s looking forward to seeing some big-name players in action.
Meerut Mavericks, last season’s champions, are bringing back their biggest star Rinku Singh. Famous for his powerful shots and calm finishing under pressure, Rinku isn’t just a batter he’s a game-changer and a crowd-puller.
Lucknow Falcons will be led by the seasoned Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Known for his sharp swing with the new ball and smart bowling at the death, he’s a true asset. As captain, Bhuvi brings calm leadership and loads of experience from his time with Team India and the IPL.
Kashi Rudras have always been tough competitors, and this season, they’re banking on a strong team foundation. With an eye on promoting local talent, their squad is shaping up to include hard-hitting batters and clever bowlers a balanced mix that could make them serious title challengers.
