Triumph Cricket Club secured an impressive 26-run victory over Dhruv Cricket Academy in a thrilling encounter that showcased strong performances from both their batsmen and bowlers. Batting first, Triumph got off to a mixed start. Shaurya Singh provided an early boost, scoring a quick 22 off 14 balls, but his opening partner, Saurabh Sharma, was dismissed for a duck. Abdul Kashif then stepped up with an explosive knock, smashing 43 runs from just 27 balls, including three massive sixes. He was well supported by Kritagya Kumar Singh, who anchored the innings with 32 runs off 33 balls. The pair helped build a solid foundation before a few wickets fell in the middle overs.
Despite the setbacks, Triumph managed to maintain momentum through some valuable late contributions from Shiva and Jamshed Alam. They pushed the total to a competitive 142 runs at the end of 20 overs. Among the bowlers for Dhruv Cricket Academy, Saksham Verma stood out with a three-wicket haul, while Niranjan Singh and Rajdeep Singh chipped in with two wickets each.
Chasing 143, Dhruv Cricket Academy couldn’t find the rhythm they needed. Their openers struggled to gain control, with Kaustubh Kashyap making a slow 26 off 33 balls. Although Rajdeep Singh added some spark in the middle order with a quick 25 from 19 deliveries, the rest of the batting lineup failed to support him. Regular wickets kept falling, and the run rate kept climbing beyond their reach.
Aryan Gupta was the star with the ball for Triumph Cricket Club. He delivered a match-winning spell, taking 4 wickets for just 20 runs in his 4 overs, including a few crucial breakthroughs in the death overs that sealed the win. He was well assisted by Shaurya Singh and Atul Mishra, who also kept things tight with the ball.
In the end, Dhruv Cricket Academy could only manage 116 runs in their 20 overs, falling short by 26 runs. Triumph’s strong bowling effort and smart field placements made the difference, ensuring they walked away with a well-earned win. This performance proved that Triumph Cricket Club is a serious contender and can handle pressure situations with confidence and skill.
