The Netherlands and Nepal played a historic match in Glasgow, where the game went into a third Super Over for the first time in men's professional cricket. After a dramatic battle, the Netherlands finally secured victory in an intense contest.
How the Game Unfolded
Nepal needed 16 runs in the last over of regular time. Nandan Yadav struck boundaries off Kyle Klein to push the match into a Super Over.
In the first Super Over, Netherlands spinner Daniel Doram bowled but conceded 19 runs, with Kushal Bhurtel smashing two sixes and a four. Michael Levitt and Max O’Dowd responded with big hits, tying the game and forcing a second Super Over.
