India has been confirmed as the host for the next edition of the Asia Cup 2025.
It has been confirmed as per the invitation for Expression of Interest (IEOI) from the Asian Cricket Council for sponsorship rights that India and Bangladesh are going to host the two editions of the Asia Cup.

Since 2016, the tournament has occasionally been played in the T20 format to align with upcoming global tournaments. With the T20 World Cup set for 2026, the 2025 Asia Cup will also be held in the 20-over format.
Like this, the next 2027 edition is decided to be held in Bangladesh, and the format for that will be ODI, and it will be considered that there will be a 50-over World Cup in South Africa in the existing year. Every edition will consist of 13 matches. Along with India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka, there will be six participants appointed via qualifying tournament
