SND Defeats TNM Cricket Academy by 179 Runs
The Shaurya Youth Championship League U-19, 2025, witnessed one of its most explosive matches as SND Cricket Academy delivered a dominating all-round performance to beat TNM Cricket Academy by 179 runs. It was a match filled with big hits, fast scoring, and impressive individual efforts, making it a memorable contest for everyone watching.
SND’s innings were nothing short of spectacular. The team posted a gigantic total of 436 runs in 40 overs, thanks to some outstanding batting. The star of the show was Rishab Chaudhary, who played an unbelievable knock of 189 runs from just 116 balls. His innings was packed with power as he smashed 10 fours and 17 sixes, taking the game away from TNM early on. He found strong support from the other end, with Raghav Chopra scoring a quick and fluent 72 off 45 balls, keeping the momentum high.
Saksham Sharma continued the fireworks with a solid 82 off 51 balls, ensuring the run rate never dipped. Towards the end, Vian played a fiery cameo of 59* from 23 balls, hitting the ball cleanly and finishing the innings in style. With every batter contributing and the scoring rate above 10 runs per over, SND set a target that looked almost impossible to chase.
TNM Cricket Academy began their chase with some intent, but the pressure of such a huge target soon caught up with them. Shivansh was the standout performer for TNM, playing a brave and attacking innings of 88 runs from 49 balls, which included some beautiful strokes and powerful hits.
Piyush Kumar also chipped in with an impressive 51 off 29 balls, trying to keep the chase alive. However, the fall of regular wickets made it difficult for TNM to build partnerships. Samanth played a quick 33 off 17 balls, and Aditya Bhati added 20 off 11 balls, but the target was simply too big to handle.
SND’s bowlers ensured that their huge total was well defended. The pick of the bowlers was Raghav Chopra, who had a brilliant day with the ball as well. He took five wickets, finishing with figures of 5 for 54 in 7.1 overs. His spell broke TNM’s middle order and ended any hopes of a comeback. Arjun Tyagi supported him well, picking up two important wickets while keeping things tight. The rest of the bowlers also kept the pressure on, forcing mistakes and keeping the scoring under control.
In the end, TNM Cricket Academy were bowled out for 257 in 27.1 overs, handing SND a massive 179-run victory. It was a complete team performance by SND, with unforgettable batting, disciplined bowling, and smart fielding. This match will surely be remembered for Rishab’s extraordinary 189 and Raghav’s brilliant all-round show.
