Ruturaj Gaikwad to be Captain of Maharashtra in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy
Maharashtra's squad for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy has been finalised. Players like Prithvi Shaw, Rahul Tripathi, and Arsin Kulkarni have been included.
The Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) has announced that Ruturaj Gaikwad will lead the state team in the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025-26.
Maharashtra will play its group-stage matches at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, starting their campaign against Jammu and Kashmir on November 26.
Gaikwad comes into the tournament in strong form, having scored 210 runs, including a century, during South Africa-A’s tour of India while representing India-A.
