Ravindra Jadeja Set to Play for Saurashtra in Upcoming Ranji Trophy Match Against Delhi.
Ravindra Jadeja has taken over the domestic duties. He has already joined the Saurashtra team on Sunday morning as the team started preparing for the Ranji Trophy assignment, showing his excitement to play the next match. The news has been confirmed by the Saurashtra Cricket Association that he is going to be featured in the next domestic match.
"Ravindra Jadeja will play the next Ranji Trophy match," said Himanshu Shah, secretary of the Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA). Jaydev Unadkat will continue as the team captain. Saurashtra will face Delhi starting January 23 at Ground C, near the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot.
Earlier, it was reported that Jadeja would confirm his availability by Sunday. His last Ranji match was in January 2023, when he captained Saurashtra against Tamil Nadu in Chennai. That game served as a fitness test for him after recovering from a knee injury before the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023.
