N E Railways Marches into the Final with a 12-Run Win Over Life Care Cricket Club

The evening semi-final between N E Railways and Life Care Cricket Club turned out to be a high-scoring thriller. In a closely fought contest, N E Railways held their nerve and won the match by 12 runs, booking their spot in the final.
Batting first, N E Railways set a strong foundation with an impressive total of 186 runs in 20 overs. Sahab Yuvraj Singh played a match-winning innings, scoring a brilliant 82 runs off just 48 balls, smashing 9 fours and 3 sixes. He was well supported by Ankit Yadav (28 off 22) and Upendra Singh Yadav (21 off 11), both of whom gave the team a fast start. Lower down the order, Ashwani Mandhyani added a quick 15 off 7 balls, helping the team finish strong.
From the bowling side of Life Care Cricket Club, six bowlers shared the responsibilities. Shailendra Singh, Aman Yadav, Sumit Kumar Sharma, Prakhar Mishra, and Himanshu Yadav took one wicket each. However, they couldn’t stop the flow of runs as the N E Railways batters attacked from the start.
In response, Life Care Cricket Club put up a good fight but fell just short. Their chase ended at 175 runs in 20 overs. The star for Life Care was Prakhar Mishar, who played a fighting knock of 74 runs from 58 balls. He received support from Shivam Tiwari (28 off 19), Navneet Patel (19 off 12), and Jivesh Nandan Tripathi (15 not out off 7). Despite their efforts, the required run rate kept rising, and the team couldn’t catch up.
N E Railways’ bowlers played a key role in defending the target. Sahab Yuvraj Singh had a fantastic all-round performance, picking up 3 wickets for 34 runs. Shivam Dixit also took 2 crucial wickets, while Saved Malik and Prashant Awasthi chipped in with one wicket each. The fielding was sharp too, with two catches and a smart run-out adding to the pressure.
With this win, N E Railways advances to the final, where they will face Kooh Sports Cricket Club. The final promises to be an exciting match between two in-form teams, both hungry for the championship title.
