N E Railways Clinch 5-Wicket Win Over Central Cricket Club

The evening match was a great show for the viewers as we saw an amazing performance by the NE Railways, who got their thrilling 5-wicket victory against the Central Cricket Club. The match gained interest because both teams played extremely well and displayed brilliance, but it was the NE Railways that got the crown.
At first, Central Cricket Club started the batting and gave a challenging total of 148 runs in 19.5 overs however, most of the runs that they gained are in the middle and the lower overs only. The match started with Priyanshi Pandey, who played aggressively, where he scored 21 runs out of 14 balls in which he also hitting 3 boundaries along with a six. He got Priyanshu Pandey’s support, who scored 25 off 18 balls. The star of the inning was Kartik Siddhu, who made 19 runs in just 7 deliveries, which included 2 sixes. Saubhagya also tried giving his best and posted a 20-run score, whereas Akash Chaudhary took the death over responsibilities and delivered 13 in just 7 balls. And with the mutual efforts, they would be able to score a big total.
The bowlers from N E Railways maintained their accuracy and took wickets regularly, which helped them control Central Cricket Club’s scoring. Trishal showed some of his best balling moves and took 2 wickets for just 16 runs in 4 overs. Sahab Yuvraj Singh also took 2 wickets for 33 runs, whereas Shivam Dixit also took 2 wickets for 21 runs. The bowling unit, supported by some sharp fielding, particularly two run-outs, ensured Central never fully ran away with the game.
Now NE Railways started their innings and got off to started good start where Upendra Singh Yadav gave a nice total of 52 runs out of 43 deliveries, in which he smashed 5 boundaries and 3 sixes. But at the interval, the team lost their wicket, and that’s where Sahab Yuvraj Singh started giving a total of 50 runs out of 34 runs and later on he was declared as the man of the match. Prashant Awasthi and Aakash Verma maintained their team's energy during the game. Sahab's bold batting put a lot of pressure on the other team's bowlers and lowered the number of runs they needed to score.
The final chase was completed in 19.1 overs, where Shivam Dixit and Dinesh Kumar took the final over control and made the team win. Central’s bowling effort, though spirited, was unable to contain the flow of runs, with only Nilansh Kushwaha (2/19) and Yashwant (3/28) managing to make notable dents in the batting line-up.
With this win, N E Railways showed great teamwork and kept their cool under pressure. The solid performance of their top batsmen, along with their strong bowling and fielding, created the right conditions for a well-earned victory. Central Cricket Club put up a strong score and had some impressive moments, but they will aim to recover and come back even better in their next matches.
