Master Vaibhav T-20 Champions Trophy Final: Ghaziabad Cricket Association vs Meerut Blue

Meerut Wins Big: Ten Wickets and a Trophy

Meerut Blue beat Ghaziabad Cricket Association by 10 wickets.

The big final match of the Vaibhav Tournament was between Ghaziabad Cricket and Meerut Blue. The pitch was a bit green, which meant it would help the bowlers a lot. Ghaziabad batted first and had a really tough time, only scoring 122 runs.

At the start, Shantanu and Mohit Pal tried to get going, but they couldn't score much. Then, Mohit Pal got out really early, which was a bad start for Ghaziabad. After that, wickets kept falling one after another. Sunil Kumar bowled really well and took a lot of wickets, including some important players like Nalin Mishra and Kavya Teotia. Prince Yadav also got out, and Ghaziabad was in big trouble.

Saksham Rai tried to score some runs, hitting a few boundaries, but he didn't get much help from the other batters. Siddharth Yadav tried to build a partnership, but he kept losing partners. Ritik Vats hit some big shots, like sixes and fours, but even he got out.

Towards the end, Ankit Chaudhary tried to add some more runs, hitting a few boundaries and a six, but then he got out too. Yash Garg tried to keep the innings together, hitting a few fours, but he ran out of partners. Ghaziabad really struggled against Meerut Blue's bowlers. They kept losing wickets and only managed to score 122 runs.

Now, Meerut Blue had to score 123 runs to win the tournament. Ghaziabad hoped that their bowlers could use the green pitch to defend their low score.

Meerut’s inning
Meerut Blue put on an impressive display in their chase, winning by 10 wickets against Ghaziabad Cricket Association in the final of the Vaibhav Tournament. Chasing a target of 123 runs on a pitch that had some green, Harsh Tyagi and Yashu Pradhan played with great calmness and confidence, leaving Ghaziabad's bowlers struggling.

The innings for Meerut started with Prince Yadav trying to create pressure on the openers, but Harsh Tyagi quickly got into the groove. He scored several boundaries, mixing some lucky hits with strong drives, which put Ghaziabad under pressure. Yashu Pradhan played well too, keeping the strike moving and taking advantage of any bad balls. Yash Garg tried to shift the momentum, but Harsh Tyagi kept up his attacking style, hitting a six and a four back-to-back.

Prince Yadav came back into the attack, but Harsh Tyagi continued to punish him, hitting more boundaries and a six. Yashu Pradhan also joined the boundary fest, hitting a well-placed four off Piyush Chaudhary. Ankit Chaudhary's introduction didn't change the course of the innings, as Yashu Pradhan hit a series of fours, putting Meerut Blue in a commanding position.

Siddharth Yadav's over was particularly expensive, with Harsh Tyagi hitting a six and multiple boundaries, bringing Meerut Blue closer to victory. The Ghaziabad bowlers struggled to contain the Meerut openers, who batted with a blend of aggression and control. Vishal Chaudhary and Ankit Chaudhary tried to stem the flow of runs, but the Meerut batters remained unfazed.

Yashu Pradhan and Harsh Tyagi continued to accumulate runs comfortably, hitting boundaries at will. Shantanu's introduction was too little, too late, as Yashu Pradhan finished the innings with a boundary, sealing a comprehensive 10-wicket victory for Meerut Blue. Their dominant batting performance ensured they chased down the target with ease, showcasing their superiority in the final match.
