Lahore and Karachi to host warm-up games for the Champions Trophy
India will take part in a warm-up match in Dubai to prepare for the Champions Trophy.
Lahore and Karachi have reconstructed their stadiums for a tri-nation series between Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa. This will be a warm-up before the Champions Trophy begins on February 19.
Games Schedule:
February 8: Gaddafi Stadium will host the opening match between Pakistan and New Zealand.
February 10: Gaddafi Stadium will also host the day game between South Africa and New Zealand.
February 12: National Bank Stadium in Karachi will host the match between Pakistan and South Africa.
February 14: The final will take place at National Bank Stadium in Karachi.
Stadium Upgrades:
Gaddafi Stadium: Capacity increased with new chairs, 480 LED lights for better broadcast, two huge digital replay screens, and a new hospitality area for players and officials.
National Bank Stadium: There is a new hospitality area at the University End, 350 LED lights for better broadcasting, two digital replay screens, and 5,000 new chairs for spectator comfort.
