The semi-final match between Kooh Sports Cricket Club and UP Timber was full of excitement and strong performances. Kooh Sports Cricket Club played an excellent game and secured their place in the final by defeating Up Timber by 15 runs.
Kooh Sports Cricket Club batted first and posted a solid total of 186 runs in 20 overs. The innings started slowly with the top three batsmen struggling to score big. Abhishek Rai (5), Krtu Raj Singh (11), and Ghanshyam Upadhyay (6) got out early, putting pressure on the middle order. But Kushagra Singh played a fantastic knock, scoring 64 runs off 38 balls with 6 fours and 4 sixes. He was well supported by Fahad Ahmad, who added 30 runs off 19 balls, and Aditya Pratap Singh, who scored 25 off 17 balls. Towards the end, Aniket Singh (18 off 9) and Rudra Pratap Singh (4 off 1) helped push the score further. The team also benefited from 32 extra runs, bringing the total to 186.
From UP Timber’s bowling side, Navneet Kumar was the most effective, taking 2 wickets for just 21 runs in his 4 overs. Atif Sajid also took 2 wickets, while Hasan Akhtar and Jai Shukla picked up one wicket each.
In reply, UP Timber started their chase with high energy. Rijul Patel gave a quick start by scoring 23 runs off 13 balls, and Karan Singh added an important 29 runs off 18 balls. The middle order kept the hopes alive with contributions from Sanket Maurya (17), Abhishek Pratap (20), and Aviral Kannaujiya (16). Towards the end, Atif Sajid scored 24 off 16 and Hasan Akhtar added 9 off 6 balls. However, the team could not keep up with the required run rate and were all out for 171 runs in 19.1 overs.
Kooh Sports' bowlers did a great job under pressure. Aniket Singh was the star of the innings, taking 4 wickets for 21 runs in just 3.1 overs. Rudra Pratap Singh and Shahid took 1 wicket each, while Aditya Pratap Singh also managed to pick up one wicket.
With this victory, Kooh Sports Cricket Club has moved on to the final match, showing strong teamwork and excellent all-round performance. Fans are now eagerly waiting to see if they can carry this momentum and win the tournament.
