Khurrat XI Triumphs in an Exciting Run Chase Against Young Talent Aster

LSKCM T20 Trophy: Youngster Aster vs Khurrat XI. Player of the Match: Amaan

In an exciting morning of the 1st, Late Smt. Kiran Chopra Memorial Tournament held in Greater Noida, Khurrat XI emerged victorious over Youngster Aster by 4 wickets, successfully chasing a target of 131 runs with 10 balls to spare.
Youngster Aster Innings:
Youngster Aster opted to bat first, but faced early trouble as their top order collapsed quickly. Abhay Pratap Singh scored 9 runs before getting caught, while Divyansh Joshi and Aditya Sharma fell cheaply for 2 and 0 respectively. Abhinav Tej Rana also couldn’t contribute much and was dismissed for just 3 runs. Shivam Sharma added 6 runs but struggled to rotate the strike. The only major resistance came from Yashvardhan Singh, who played a crucial knock of 43 runs off 33 balls, including 3 fours and 2 sixes. His innings provided much-needed stability in the middle overs.
As wickets continued to fall, Rishab Rajput chipped in with 6 runs, and Sumit Kumar added 12. Towards the end, Subodh Bhati played a stunning performance, smashing 32 runs off just 13 balls with 3 boundaries and 3 sixes. His fireworks in the final overs helped push Youngster Aster to a fighting total of 130 runs in their allotted 20 overs.
Khurrat XI Innings:
Chasing 131 to win, Khurrat XI also had a slow start as Hemant was dismissed for 4 runs. But opener Tushar Tyagi gave the innings a strong foundation with a well-constructed 46 off 34 balls, hitting 5 fours and 2 sixes. He was supported by Daksh Arora, who played a composed knock of 30 runs in as many deliveries. Their partnership put Khurrat XI in a comfortable position during the middle overs.
Although Lucky was dismissed for just 3 runs and the team lost a few quick wickets, including Manish Bhati (16 off 10) and Abhishek (17 off 12), the lower-order batters kept their cool. Amaan and Karan remained not out towards the end, with Karan scoring a quick 7 off just 3 balls. They chased down the target in 18.2 overs, finishing at 131 for 6 and securing a 4-wicket win.
Khurrat XI’s balanced batting performance and key contributions from both top and lower order helped them clinch this closely fought match in the 1st Late Smt. Kiran Chopra Memorial Tournament.
Overall, it was an exciting contest between both teams, with strong individual performances and a thrilling finish that kept the spectators on the edge of their seats.
