Team Khurrat XI continued their winning streak with a confident 5-wicket win over GNCC, chasing down a competitive target of 160 in just 16.4 overs. A high-octane opening blitz, a composed middle-order partnership, and disciplined bowling made it a near-perfect performance for Khurrat XI, who now look like serious title contenders.
GNCC's innings revolved around Sidharth Chaudhary, who played a fluent knock of 45 from 31 balls, hitting 8 crisp boundaries. He set the tone early, supported by Priyansh Rathi (17 off 12) and Sachin Bhati (27 off 21), helping GNCC cross the 100-run mark with momentum.
However, a flurry of middle-order wickets dented GNCC's acceleration. Key batters like Prince Lamba (4 off 5) and Himansu Nagar (1 off 4) fell cheaply. It was Karan’s late cameo of 28 from 17 balls that pushed GNCC to a respectable 160/8 in 20 overs.
Khurrat XI came out all guns blazing. Aman Khatri stole the show in the first over, smashing 18 off just 5 balls, all in sixes. Though he departed early, his start set the tone. Tushar Tyagi (19 off 11) and Hemant (8 off 6) provided aggressive cameos.
The chase was then anchored by Abhishek, who played a brilliant knock of 42 from 26 balls, cracking 6 fours and 2 sixes. He was well supported by Manish Bhati (26 off 30), who ensured the innings didn’t collapse.
As GNCC tried to claw back with a few wickets in the middle overs, Aashu Tomar (23 off 15) and Amaan (11 off 7)* ensured there were no late hiccups. The target was chased down in 16.4 overs, giving Khurrat XI a comfortable victory with 20 balls to spare.
