UP T20 League Qualifier 1: Kashi Rudras booked their place in the UP T20 League Final in style after a solid performance in Qualifier 1. Skipper Karan Sharma was the highest scorer with 43 runs.
The Qualifier round was just as exciting as everyone had hoped. The Kashi Rudras and Meerut Mavericks faced off in a tense match that had fans on the edge of their seats until the final ball. In the end, the Rudras stayed calm during crucial moments and beat the Mavericks by just 5 runs in a thrilling finish, securing their spot in the next round.
Rudras Build a Fighting Total
Batting first, the Rudras knew they needed to post a challenging score against the Mavericks’ strong batting unit. Their innings got a lively start thanks to Abhishek Goswami, who scored a quick 27 runs, giving the team early momentum. The real fireworks came from skipper Karan Sharma, who smashed an attacking 43 off 26 balls, laced with 6 fours and a six. His knock provided the Rudras with both aggression and stability in the middle overs.
The supporting roles were equally important Uvaish Ahmed chipped in with a handy 28 runs, while Saksham Rai added 22 to keep the scoreboard moving.
