IPL Mini-Auction: 16 Capped Indian Players Out of 1,355; Maxwell Not Included
The BCCI has confirmed that the auction event will be held on 16 December 2025 at the stunning Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, UAE. More than 1,300 players registered their names for the mini auction.
More than 1,000 players have signed up for the upcoming IPL mini-auction, which will be held in Abu Dhabi on December 16. Big Indian names like Mayank Agarwal, KS Bharat, Rahul Chahar, Ravi Bishnoi, Akash Deep, Deepak Hooda, Venkatesh Iyer, Sarfaraz Khan, Prithvi Shaw, and Umesh Yadav are among the top aspirants.
But one major surprise is the absence of Glenn Maxwell, who has played 13 IPL seasons and 141 matches. Maxwell announced on Instagram that he won’t be part of the auction this year, thanking fans and the league for unforgettable memories.
