Edwards gave a strong start before Harvey and Connolly dominated India A

India A vs Australia A: Australia A chased down the rain-reduced target of 160 in 16.4 overs after Tilak Varma's 94 guided India A. Mackenzie Harvey smashed 10 fours and two sixes in his unbeaten 70 runs to achieve the target.

Australia A bounced back in style to beat India A in the second one-day match in Kanpur and level the three-match series 1-1.

India A chose to bat first and scored 246 runs. Tilak Varma was the top scorer with a solid 94. But their innings had ups and downs. They were struggling at 17 for 3 after early wickets from Jack Edwards and Will Sutherland. Tilak and Riyan Parag steadied things with a 101-run stand, with Parag hitting 58. After Parag got out, India A collapsed again, losing 3 wickets for just 18 runs. Tilak kept going with help from the lower order, including Harshit Rana (21), Ravi Bishnoi (26), and Arshdeep Singh (10). Edwards finished with four wickets, and India A were all out with more than four overs left.

Australia A’s chase was interrupted by rain after just 5.5 overs. When play resumed, their target was reduced to 160 in 25 overs. They made it look easy, reaching the target in just 16.4 overs. Jake Fraser-McGurk gave them a flying start with 36 off 20 balls. After he got out, Mackenzie Harvey (70* off 49) and Cooper Connolly (50* off 31) took charge, adding 103 runs in just 59 balls. Together, the trio smashed 22 fours and six sixes, completely outplaying India A.

The final match of the series will be played on Sunday, again in Kanpur
