In the morning match of LHNB T20 tournament in Lucknow, Central Cricket Club outplayed Mega Trends with a commanding 38-run victory. Central Cricket Club posted a strong total while batting first, and their bowlers backed it up with a disciplined performance to secure the win.
First Innings – Central Cricket Club Posts 156 on the Board
Central Cricket Club started aggressively with Himanshu Sharma scoring 11 off just 7 balls. The early momentum was carried forward by Prashant Veer (23 off 16) and Aniket Narayan (24 off 19). Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, they kept the scoreboard ticking. The standout performance came from Shivam Rajput, who smashed 25 off only 12 balls, including 2 sixes, giving the innings a late boost. Some useful contributions from the lower order and 24 extras helped them reach a competitive total of 156 runs in 19.3 overs.
On the bowling side, Manik Maurya and Nishant Yadav both picked up 3 wickets each, keeping the pressure on the batting team.
Second Innings – Mega Trends Fall Short at 118
Chasing 157, Mega Trends had a rough start as they kept losing wickets early.
