Bhawani Tigers Demolished GNCC’s Defense with Ruthless Power-Hitting

LSKCM T20 Trophy: GNCC vs Bhawani Tigers. Player of the Match: Sanjeev 46*(14) & 2 wickets

Cricket fans witnessed pure dominance in latest showdown between GNCC and Bhawani Tigers, where Bhawani Tigers not only showcased their bowling discipline but also delivered a power-packed batting performance to secure a massive 9-wicket victory, and that too in just 8.5 overs!
GNCC started their innings with high hopes, but their batters found it tough to settle in against a sharp and varied Bhawani Tigers bowling attack. Openers Sidharth Chaudhary (12 off 9) and Manish Bhati (16 off 12) gave a decent start, playing a few attacking strokes. However, wickets started tumbling quickly after their dismissals.
The middle order, including Priyansh Rathi (5 off 5), Akarsh (3 off 14), and Sachin (3 off 7), couldn’t offer much resistance and were unable to build partnerships. Only Yashveer Nagar brought some life back into the innings, smashing 30 off 20 balls, which included a six and a four, before being dismissed by Hitesh Kumar.
Himansu Nagar contributed with a slow but steady 23 off 25, trying to anchor the innings, but GNCC kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Toward the end, a brief effort from Himansu Bhati (8 off 5) and Abdul Majid (8 off 9) helped GNCC push the total to 125/9 in 20 overs.
On the bowling front, Sanjeev and Sarthak Chechi were brilliant, both picking up 2 wickets each. Hitesh Kumar also chipped in with 2 wickets, keeping the pressure tight from both ends. The bowlers maintained discipline, gave away very few extras, and kept GNCC under control.
Chasing 126, the Tigers went all guns blazing right from the first over. Vikas Singh led the charge with a fiery knock, remaining not out on 60 off just 31 balls. His innings included 8 boundaries and 3 towering sixes, completely dismantling the GNCC bowlers.
He was joined by Hitesh Sharma, who played a quick cameo of 17 off 8 balls, before falling to Karan. But the fireworks didn’t stop there.
Enter Sanjeev already shining with the ball, he brought absolute mayhem with the bat. Smashing an unbelievable 46 runs off just 14 balls, including 5 sixes, Sanjeev played a blinder that left the fielding side helpless. He batted at a strike rate of 328.6.
Together, Vikas and Sanjeev wrapped up the game in no time, helping Bhawani Tigers chase down the target in just 8.5 overs with 9 wickets in hand. The final score read 127/1, and the match felt more like a highlight reel than a full game.
