Bangladesh will host the West Indies for a series of one-day and T20 matches.
The West Indies cricket team will come to Bangladesh for a series of one-day internationals (ODIs) and T20 matches in mid-October.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board announced on Tuesday that the three ODIs will take place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka, while the T20 matches will be held at the Bir Shrestho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Cricket Stadium, which was previously called Zahur Ahmed Cricket Stadium, in Chattogram.
Bangladesh will kick off their home season by facing the West Indies in the first ODI on October 18, with the next two matches scheduled for October 20 and 23.
After the ODIs, both teams will move to Chattogram for the T20 series, starting with the first match on October 27, followed by the next two games on October 30 and November 1.
This series is important for both teams as it will give them a chance to adjust their line-ups and strategies before the ICC T20 World Cup, which will be held in India and Sri Lanka starting in February next year.
