Asia Cup 2025: Be Ready for India Vs Pakistan Face off on 21 September
India and Pakistan are set to square off for the second time in the space of a week, as they play each other in the Asia Cup Super Four round. India is likely to face Pakistan on September 21 in Dubai. If both teams qualify for the Final, they will face each other for the third time in this Asia Cup on September 28.
Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will face off on Saturday to kick off the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup 2025. Sri Lanka secured their spot by beating Afghanistan in the final group-stage match in Abu Dhabi, finishing unbeaten in Group B. Bangladesh also advanced from the same group.
India and Pakistan had already qualified from Group A, with Pakistan sealing their place after defeating UAE on Wednesday. This sets up a second India vs Pakistan clash in the tournament, scheduled for September 21 in Dubai. India won the first meeting between the two and remained unbeaten ahead of their final group-stage game against Oman.
Pakistan will get a day’s rest before playing Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi. Bangladesh, however, have a tight schedule they’ll play India on September 24 and Pakistan on September 25, both matches taking place in Dubai.
India and Sri Lanka will wrap up the Super Four stage on September 26 in Dubai. The top two teams from this round will meet in the final on September 28, also in Dubai. Importantly, teams will not carry any points from the group stage into the Super Four round.
